Flowers are calling a frog, no flowers aren't calling a frog, frog likes the soggy bog.

Flowers are calling a bumblebee to look near their log.

Flowers are calling a desert deer, no flowers aren't calling a deer, he can't even go near.

Flowers are calling a nectar bat to flap over here.

Flowers are calling some children to look again.

When you first look at a flower, what do you see?

"Petals"

"Pollen"

"Color!"

Do you also see their patterns? Do you see the shape of the flower?

How would you describe them? When a flower is close to you, what do you notice? The smell?

What about if you look for flowers at different times of the day?

What flowers are close by? What is flowers' job?

We were onto the first adventure of the day! The task was to collect 6 flowers in a egg-carton treasure chests. Clover flowers, daffodils and a few other wildflowers.

Next was a math lesson to measure who had the tallest flower? M had the tallest flower.

A, actually had the the tallest flower of the bunch!

We lined up to make a graph -a graph is a picture of math!

Next was sorting the various flower pieces into mason jars and then they quickly became engaged with making patterns on the plates with the flower pieces.

We finished up, ribbons and rings and time to say goodbye, but really we all headed to the playground for a bit to enjoy this beautiful day!
