Violets at Mom & Me herbal class

This month we explored violets! We learned where to find her and studied her from root to flower as we used our artistic skills to sketch soft watercolor art. Next came flower presses to preserve our foraged finds. We sanded and created the perfect wooden pocket-sized press, which can go with us on any nature hike. We finished the day making a delightful violet syrup for respiratory symptoms or a sore throat. Come join us next month as we learn more about using herbal medicine at home!
