Mom and Me Herbal Chickweed Class

This month at the farm we explored Chickweed with our fairy friend Stellaria. From foraging this green, low-lying medicinal plant to sipping an earthy infusion, we really got a taste for how Chickweed can be used at home.

We colored Chickweed art and learned how to make a salve for irritated or dry skin. Our favorite take-home activity was our unique flower pounded foraging bags. They turned out great! Come join us next month for fun with violets!
